Blackjack Counting Cards Principles
According to the basic strategy, the player can find a solution for any possible situation while playing blackjack. Although, there is a bonus knowledge left in the remaining deck of cards. By tracking the cards while they are dealt from the deck, the player can discover whether the left cards can bring him extra edge or not. The strategy is called the Blackjack Counting cards strategy and it is not as easy as it may seem for the first time.
Blackjack counting cards strategy gives the player:
- An opportunity to make profit by placing larger bets when the situation is advantageous. If the remaining cards are mostly tens, the player has a bigger chance to be dealt a Blackjack, and the dealer is more likely to bust.
- The remaining cards can help make decisions for specific hands played, by improving the Basic Blackjack Strategy. If there are lots of tens in the left deck, the player can Double Down more often because his chances of getting a stronger hand increase.
The card counters are not required to memorize all the cards that have been played. There is a system that helps to keep track of the cards; by keeping a count of small numbers that are given to group of the cards, the player knows the percentage of small cards and tens in the remaining deck. Correct Blackjack counting strategy can decrease the house edge. That is why most casinos have switched from a single deck game to a multiple one. Although most US jurisdictions do not consider card blackjack counting illegal, due to the fact that most casinos are a private property, practically all of them still have the right to ban all players found or suspected in card blackjack counting. Electronic and other counting devices are prohibited.
